Murtha`s Audience reduced by FBI from Planck's Constant

The traitorous coward and defeatist appeaser Murtha says U.S. poses top threat to world peace.

MIAMI — American presence in Iraq is more dangerous to world peace than nuclear threats from North Korea or Iran, Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., said to an audience of more than 200 in North Miami Saturday afternoon.

Murtha was the guest speaker at a town hall meeting organized by Rep. Kendrick B. Meek, D-Miami, at Florida International University's Biscayne Bay Campus. Meek's mother, former Rep. Carrie Meek, D-Miami, was also on the panel.

Murtha's remarks about the danger posed by American presence in Iraq were in regard to a recent poll, by the Pew Global Attitudes Project, that indicates a greater percentage of people in 10 of 14 foreign countries consider the U.S. presence in Iraq a greater danger to world peace than any threats posed by Iran or North Korea. Instead of calling these people morons for believing such utter nonsense, Murtha uses their ignorant opinions to make America look bad. What a traitor.

By the way, the audience would have been larger but a few days earlier Federal agents launched a series of raids targeting a suspected terror cell based in Miami where seven people who intended to attend had been arrested.

Unfortunately the FBI was not aware of the 200 attending Murtha's Surrender Rally and were unable to arrest all 200 for sedition and treason.

MURTHA: "The thing that disturbed me and worries me about this whole thing is we can't get [the administration] to change direction. And I said over and over in debate, if you listen to any of it, in Beirut President Reagan changed direction, in Somalia President Clinton changed direction..."

The move by Clinton in 1993 to evacuate Somalia following the "Blackhawk Down" battle where American Rangers and Delta Force operators killed several hundred Somalis while losing only 18 soldiers is widely acknowledged as a seminal moment in the evolution and elevation of Al Qaida as the most significant terrorist organization in the history of the world. That is not to say that Reagan did us any favors by pulling out of Beirut in 1984, but fortunately the jihadis were busy with the Soviets and not focusing on the US.

So Murtha's advice is for us to pull another shameful Mogadishu? Unfortunately, the yellow bastard Clinton's retreat from Somalia only made the world less safe since Somalia once again has become a haven for terrorists.

As for his assertion that Iraq has made the world less safe, I suppose if we had not gone to Iraq then Israel and Hamas would have signed a peace accord by now, al Qaeda would have peacefully disbanded without Iraq's convenient staging area, and Saddam would not have gone forward with his weapons programs.

Since Saddam would have voluntarily disarmed there would never have been any reason for Iran to try to develop weapons as a defence against a powerful, de-sanctioned, oil-rich, megalomaniac next door.

Indeed, the world would have been at peace. Where was Murtha during WWII? We could have avoided that whole confrontation with Hitler and Tojo.
