Madonna at Atlantic City from Planck's Constant

No anti-Muslim Blogging today, I'm going to see Madonna in Atlantic City. I'm a male, atheist Jew, 61 years old. Perfect audience for Madonna? Well actually I got four complimentary tickets from Caesars Casino so what can I do?

After the concert I'll post my observations.

Well, here are my observations:
1) It was too loud for me.
2) No one was killed for watching Madonna perform.

I was reading ProgressiveIslam.Org's Carnival Against Islamofascism where the blogger kindly mentioned my article why there are only 72 virgins in Paradise and noted that "This might be the first time I've seen a whole paragraph written in individualized hyperlinks. Incredible." But I digress.

Anyway, the blogger links to Zionist.com who informs us that Somali warlords killed Muslims for watching football. So I head on to that article to find it links to Michelle Malkin. I finally find more info at Sweetness & Light - 2 Somalis killed for watching World Cup, Excerpt:

MOGADISHU, Somalia - Radical Islamic militia fighters in Somalia shot and killed two people who were watching a banned World Cup soccer broadcast, a radio station reported Wednesday.

The hard-line Muslim fighters, who have banned watching television, opened fire after a crowd of teenagers defied their orders to leave a hall where a businessman was showing Tuesday's Germany-Italy match on satellite television, according to Shabelle Radio, an independent local station. It said the businessman and a teenage girl were killed.

Hard-line Muslim fighters, who wrested control of the Somali capital from warlords in June, have forbidden people from watching television or movies in line with their strict interpretation of Islam.

I remembered having read that days ago elsewhere and thought little of it at the time; after all, Muslims kill innocent people every day for the most petty of reasons, so it didn't seem even worthy of mention.

After the Madonna Concert I was wandering the etherblog and came across ProgressiveIslam.Org's article and it made me think of how the world would look if it were totally dominated by Islam. I'm not talking about Islam taking over with force of arms - I know that can't happen, I'm talking about Islam taking over with the force of immigration. They don't need to be a majority to force a country to do away with its most cherished beliefs. They have already made even the Church of England consider changing its flag.

The Madonna Concert would have to go. Can't have any woman so bold, so sexually provocative, so uncontrolled by men. Forget about her occasional blasphemy against religion. And those pointy bra-things from her Blond Ambition tour. What the hell are those anyway?

Fashion shows would be gone unless you think these things are fashionably exciting:

Who needs all that cloth and material when Brazil can put on a fashion show with much less:

There would be no Pizza-Huts or Kentucky Fried Chicken outlets:

Television will be filled with oodles of channels celebrating the 99 names of Allah and we will never have to worry about anyone smoking, drinking alcohol, or having premarital sex. Of course, there will be those who argue that drugs are illegal in this country yet people still get their hands on them. Yes, if they still have hands.

The world would be perfect.

I have been asked if I could find anything redeeming in Islam. Actually, Yes. I'm not the kind of guy to just dismiss the entire religion as barbaric, cruel, and worthless. If Islam took over the world there would be at least one bright spot: Paris Hilton would likely be sold to Mujib the Tent-Maker as his personal slave.
