So in the case of murder if we followed the proportion according national distribution, that is, out of 100,000 suspects we arranged for there to be only 13,000 blacks [US Census 2000], then we would end up with the following number of murderers [5.5 murders per 100,000 in US]:

13,000 Blacks = barely one murderer caught
87,000 White = less than the number above

But if we pulled over 50% blacks then we would have
50,000 Blacks= 2.5 murderers
50,000 Whites= less than 1/3 of a murderer.

But look at this, if we pull over only blacks:
100,000 Blacks= 4.8 murderers.

If we follow every other statistic, rapes, burglaries, whatever, we can conclude that pulling over more blacks will result in catching more criminals. In fact, as crazy as this sounds, law enforcement would do better and blacks themselves would be safer if ONLY blacks were pulled over for investigation. Despite the seemingly racist result, this is arithmetic 101. Justice should be color-blind, but crime is not. So if Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson and the other media whores have a problem it should not be against cops but rather against calculators.

If black demagogues really want to stop this cycle of black crime, let them rail against the urban epithet blacks call each other when they read a book or study homework: "acting White." Mr Sharpton would do black youth a great favor if he would just tell them that "acting white" is the proper goal of every young black.

Unfortunately our liberal friends in Congress are looking to re-introduce a bill to prohibit racial profiling that died in the last congressional session [S. 2132 - End Racial Profiling Act of 2004 (ERPA)] which would bar any federal, state or local law enforcement agency from "relying, to any degree, on race, ethnicity, national origin, or religion in selecting which individuals to subject to routine or spontaneous investigatory activities." What idiots could possibly be in favor of this?

Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Rep. John Conyers Jr. (D-MI), Senator Russ Feingold (D-WI) and newly elected "CAIR’s Congressman” Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) will reintroduce ERPA in this Congress. If they do, we can kiss our black or white asses, as the case may be, goodbye.

In the case of profiling at airports, Muslims come in many shades and colors so the safest thing to do there is to improve our technology so that we can detect explosives and weapons better. Cutting back on allowing Muslims to enter the US would be a good start though. And no, not because every Muslim is a threat to our country, but because the majority of moderate, non-violent Muslims are sympathetic to terrorists. Despite the fact that Muslims can use white, idiot mules to carry their stuff we still need to profile Muslims in addition to getting smarter on how to profile suspicious behaviour. But we need to use all the tools we can, technology, spotting behaviour patterns, and profiling. Hamstringing law enforcement just so a few voters can be appeased is suicide. Remember, 19 out of 19 of the 9/11 hijackers were Arab Muslim. Of course, most Muslims do not believe that.

Uproar on racial profiling spurred State Police shift

Cops and politicians call Interstate 95 the "Iron Pipeline" because it is a popular route for criminals smuggling firearms from the South into Newark and other Northeastern cities where gun violence abounds. A big link in that pipeline is the New Jersey Turnpike, where the State Police used to seize scores of guns every year.

But they don't anymore.
Gun arrests and gun seizures have plummeted on the Turnpike in the last decade, according to data provided by the State Police in response to a request under the Open Public Records Act...

The decline comes at a time when homicides and shootings are on the rise in Newark, the state's largest city, where cops are taking record numbers of firearms off the streets. When those illegal guns are traced to their original sale, the most common source states turn out to be along the I-95 corridor in the South

For many years, troopers made a priority of pulling over Turnpike motorists and searching their cars in hopes of catching drug traffickers and gun runners. That effort was abandoned in 1999, after a state investigation found troopers were stopping drivers based on their skin color, a civil rights abuse known as racial profiling. Under pressure from the U.S. Department of Justice, the State Police were put under the oversight of federal monitors and forced to change its patrol tactics....

In light of this massive disparity in crime rates, the police stop-and-frisk data are not just reasonable but inevitable.
