When I first started blogging in January of 2006 it was interesting to note where visitors were coming from. Readers came from every continent, every country, and every major city except for China which banned me a year ago.

In the coming weeks I will be removing more buttons, widgets and things from my sidebar until I am happy with the loading time of my blog. I will place these items in my sidebar graveyard: Flairs, Buttons, Wizbangs, and Widgets. Moving certain buttons from the sidebar will result in the loss of ranking for my blog url since the counter will no longer be tabulating readers, but when I started blogging I didn't know which ones I wanted to keep. At present there are way too many counters and blog ranking services in my sidebar and I have enough readers now that I no longer need to pimp my site with these services.

Hopefully, this housecleaning will result in a more pleasant visit for my dear readers.
