I have written many times that the greatest threat to Western Civilization is not al Qaeda or Muslim terrorists; it is your common, ordinary, average, moderate Joe or Jane Jihadi. The moderate Muslim does not blow up school buses or train stations or hospitals. The moderate Muslim does not slit the throats of Jews living peacefully in France. As brutal as these acts of terror may be, Civilization will continue and flourish despite the loss of a few hundred poor souls slaughtered by radical Islam.

But the real danger is in fact actually the moderate Muslim who, when offended by all that is infidel, demands that those offenses be removed or destroyed. In the civilized world we call those things science, women's rights, learning, free-speech, art, progress, technology, and freedom of the press. Islamic Scholars have even demanded that the West pass laws to criminalize insults to Islam.

The average American has no problem with our military bombing Afghanistan back to the stone age (as if it ever left the stone age) in retaliation for sheltering Osama bin Laden, but cannot see clearly to deporting Muslims because of some mistaken notion that Islam is a religion and fear that they would appear intolerant. It is never intolerant to fear and despise those who wish to destroy you. Most Americans cannot see the obvious danger that a small group of seemingly peaceful Muslims presents to our country.

Europe is day by day becoming more Muslim and less free. And not by an invading horde of terrorists but by moderate Muslims. The high fertility rate of moderate Muslims and the low fertility rate of infidels will enable Islam to accomplish in this century what it failed to do during the past fourteen: to establish a European Caliphate.

So slowly, insult by insult, flags of native countries are now considered racist and offensive to Muslim immigrants (not to terrorists but to moderate Muslims); women wearing western style clothing invite and deserve rape; art offensive to Muslims is pulled from museums; and so many other things offensive to Islam that it would take a thousand and one nights to catalogue. There is no shortage of websites that list things offensive to Muslims: here, here, here, and here.

BRUSSELS: On the street, Malika El Aroud is anonymous in an Islamic black veil covering all but her eyes.

In her living room, El Aroud, a 48-year-old Belgian, wears the ordinary look of middle age: a plain black T-shirt and pants and curly brown hair. The only adornment is a pair of powder-blue slippers monogrammed in gold with the letters SEXY.

But it is on the Internet that El Aroud has distinguished herself. Writing in French under the name Oum Obeyda, she has transformed herself into one of the most prominent Internet jihadists in Europe.

She calls herself a female holy warrior for Al Qaeda. She insists that she does not disseminate instructions on bomb-making and has no intention of taking up arms herself. Rather, she browbeats Muslim men to go and fight, and rallies women to join the cause.

"It's not my role to set off bombs - that's ridiculous," she said in a rare interview. "I have a weapon. It's to write. It's to speak out. That's my jihad. You can do many things with words. Writing is also a bomb."

There they are, teachers, bank clerks, nurses, theater cashiers, whatever. The kind of Muslim that dhimmis announce are friendly, quiet, hard-working, non-terrorists. They walk among us.
