Scarlett Johansson Texts and Sexy Obama Emails from Planck's Constant

A few months ago you might have read that Scarlett Johansson and Obama were trading text messages between each other. At that time I ignored the story even though I usually post an article whenever Scarlett makes the news. You can see my previous articles on Scarlett here.

It actually pains me to see this hot young woman campaigning on his behalf as we see in this photo at Carleton's Sayles-Hill Campus Center for a Super Tuesday rally for presidential hopeful Barack Obama in Northfield, Minnesota on 5 February 2008.

Scarlett has also hosted fundraisers and even appeared in “Yes We Can” - a viral video that got 10 million views in its first week online.

But since then the media coverage has actually embarrassed her:

"It seemed to me to be like a product of extreme sexism, and I kept thinking to myself, 'God, if this was just, like, Kal Penn or George Clooney or any of the other (Obama) surrogates or supporters... there wouldn't be (any) question about it. Nobody would even talk about it," she said.

The 23-year-old actress is now in Los Angeles promoting her new Woody Allen film "Vicky Cristina Barcelona." This is Scarlett's third time working with Woody, who directed her in "Match Point" and "Scoop." The romantic comedy is set in Barcelona, Spain and has everyone talking about her much-hyped kiss with Penelope Cruz.

"It's just silly because... the way people are talking about it you'd think it was... a Bertolucci movie or something," Johansson said, laughing. "People are saying, 'It's Woody Allen's steamiest movie.' I'm thinking, 'Woody Allen's steamiest WHAT?'"
