Some of my readers left comments to my article berating me for calling the doctor a Palestinian shill and questioned how I could possibly come to that conclusion. Well, here we have a supposedly neutral doctor who has a direct pipeline to the terror propaganda machine and gives out casualty statistics for the entire Gaza area. If you checked on 9/11 among the hundreds of doctors in New York City treating the injured that day, not one, not one single doctor gave an interview boasting that they knew exactly the total number of injured including men, women and children. Yet Doctor Gilbert knows the numbers because he is fed that number. That's why I know he's a shill.

Some morons then asked what about Israeli shills that give the other side of the conflict meaning staff at Israeli information agencies. How do you explain to idiots the meaning of the word shill. When a spokesperson representing Israel speaks about the war, he is not a shill, he is not pretending to be a neutral observer. A shill would be an Israeli spokesperson who pretended to be an ordinary unbiased Arab cab driver for example and said that he was driving the wounded to hospitals and that they were 99% Hamas soldiers. A shill is a person, wait a minute, why am I explaining this, are there no dictionaries, no Wiki articles on what constitutes a shill?

I can prove the doctor is lying.

The Times, Egypt says Hamas not allowing wounded to leave Gaza

Egypt on Sunday blamed Hamas for not letting hundreds of Palestinians wounded by Israeli air strikes leave the Gaza Strip for treatment, with dozens of empty ambulances waiting on the border.

More than 270 Palestinians have been killed and 600 wounded since Israel began hammering the Gaza Strip with air strikes on Saturday, but no wounded have yet left via Rafah, the Hamas-ruled territory's only Arab border crossing.

"No one has come in, we don't know why they're closed on the other side," a senior border security official told AFP. Several plane- and truck-loads of aid are also waiting to be allowed into the Gaza Strip, a security official said.

"The wounded are barred from crossing" into Egypt, Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Gheit said in Cairo, blaming "those who control Gaza. We are waiting for the wounded to cross."

An Egyptian plane with 50 doctors on board as well as medical supplies had arrived in nearby El-Arish. Two Qatari aircraft carrying 50 tons of medical supplies were waiting at the same airport. But no Hamas showed up.

Recall that the doctor said that the casualties represent a humanitarian catastrophe. He has never seen so much carnage. Almost half are women and children - all targeted by Israel - he was right there watching the rifle scopes as the Israelis pulled the trigger. Of the 55% men - out of hundreds perhaps 1, maybe 2 might, could be, but not likely are Hamas. How does he know? Perhaps he asked during triage: "I see your leg is missing, are you Hamas? No? Let me write that down. How about you sir, the one with half your brain blown away, are you now or have you ever been Hamas? I see you have no jaw left, blink once for yes, twice for no. Let me jot that down."

So here's why the doctor is lying, why Hamas is lying and how the world is being duped. If all the information is being funneled through one seemingly unbiased doctor then it is easy to control the lie. But now the Egyptians come along and they offer to help in the humanitarian crises, after all, they saw that interview where the doctor said no medical supplies are coming through, that no relief efforts can pass the Israeli quarantine.

If they pass the wounded to the Egyptians the world will learn two things:

1. Relief efforts are not being hampered by Israel

and

2. the number of civilians wounded is perhaps 10% to 25% which puts the lie to the notion that Israel is targeting civilians. Hamas does not want Egypt to find out that most of the wounded or dying are in fact Hamas soldiers.

Of course, I could be wrong. Perhaps Hamas does not want Egypt to help in this "humanitarian crisis" because, uh, because, uhhh... help me out here, Ahmed. Perhaps you, my dear reader, can come up with a reasonable explanation?
