Two weeks ago UPI reported that there are too many Muslims in a high-security prison in the UK, almost 33% of the prison population ¹; ten times their 3% representation among the general population. The natural response from many of us would be, "So what? Certainly the English prison system can handle high-security risk Muslims."

Actually, no. As noted in the UPI article, the prison staff do not know how to handle Muslim inmates and their presence is "placing a disproportionate and unreasonable burden on prison officers and staff."

The problem, you see, is that Britain does not have a Gitmo where dangerous Muslims can be kept. Sadly, in this country we have clueless morons like John Murtha who think Guantanamo inmates can simply be placed in regular prisons. Wait until a minimum wage Pennsylvania prison guard has to confront a violent Jihadist, then we'll see how necessary Guantanamo is.

I should mention that throughout the UK Muslims account for about 4 times as many inmates as their representation (3%) in the non-prison population; it just happens that Muslim inmates are more dangerous than not.

In France, almost 70% of the prisons are filled with Muslims although only 12% of the population is Muslim. In the Netherlands and Belgium Muslims also fill their prisons with disproportionate numbers ².

The US is not immune as well: there are tens of thousands of Muslims behind bars, in greater proportion to their representation among the general population ³; which should concern us all since prisons are becoming a breeding ground for terrorists. A Muslim apologist will say that there are thousands of Jews behind bars as well, why is it that I'm sounding warning bells for Muslims but not Jews?

It is quite obvious to everyone except Muslims, that Jews present zero danger to national security. Rabbis are not going around recruiting Jews to become martyrs against America, guards are not afraid of Jewish prisoners, and except for Kosher meals Jews do not require tremendous reorganization of prison security procedures as do Muslims.

Unfortunately, political correctness (and shades of Guantanamo) prevents the US from making a specific prison just for Muslims. For example, Muslim inmates, because of their five-times a day prayer ritual require more prison officers to escort them to and from areas of worship; there is a need to have washing facilities close to prayer rooms; Halal food is a great source of concern with many inmates refusing to accept Kosher food as a substitute; cubical showers are required for modesty; and special security of incoming reading materials needs to be implemented.

Normal inmates can receive any book as long as it comes from a publishing house. Muslim inmates' reading materials must be screened for inflammatory or seditious writings. Unfortunately the book most likely to cause the radicalization of Muslim inmates, the Quran, is not banned.

Books are not the only source of Islamic radicalization of inmates. The prison chapel system in this country needs to scrutinize Islamic chaplains who spread hatred for this country. We recall the case of and Imam Warith Deen Umar, the former chief Muslim chaplain barred from the state prison system, after it was reported he was expressing support for the 9/11 terrorists.

Here's some advice from a white infidel to blacks in America: You have enough problems being black. Do you think it will be easier to get that job or promotion if your name is Abdul Azziz bin Farted? Are you so dense that you don't realize that blacks have enough impediments without being saddled with another impediment, that of being a Muslim. Just because one black man with a Muslim name became President doesn't mean you can get that job as easy. First, you have to disavow Islam, graduate from Columbia University and Harvard Law School, become president of the Harvard Law Review, and teach constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School for a few years. Then you have to be socialist enough to get the attention of big money leftists in this country who were waiting for someone this extreme to destroy capitalism in America in order to raise 700 million bucks for your campaign and the luck to be running against the oldest candidate in history while we were entering the worst financial crisis since the depression.

So if you think you can enter that exact same perfect storm - yes, you can do well in America being Black and Muslim.

The number of Muslim inmates at a maximum-security prison in eastern England doubled between 2006 and 2008, officials say.
There were 73 Muslims held at Whitemoor Prison in Cambridgeshire in 2006, and 140 two years later, The Telegraph reported. That was about one-third of the inmate population.

Prison inspectors said staff at Whitemoor did not know how to handle Muslim inmates and "left them to police themselves."

Malcolm Moss, a member of Parliament representing the district around Whitemoor, suggested the number of Muslims is too high for a prison in a rural area.

"It is placing a disproportionate and unreasonable burden on prison officers and staff at Whitemoor," he said. "This is easily the highest percentage of Muslim prisoners in any British jail."

The bottom line is that the percentage of American Muslims in prison is almost certainly higher than it is in the general population, where the number of Muslims could be as high as 6 million, or roughly 2 percent.
