Telling Muslim Jokes is Really Mean
In response to one of my posts filled with anti-Muslim jokes, zara (a reader from the city of Reading in the UK) left this comment today: "you guys are the most mean people on earth."
Well, zara, I don't know what to say. I don't think making harmless jokes is really that mean. If you are looking for mean people, perhaps you should have gone to the site Religion of Peace where you would have learned of these really mean people:
- 2010.08.23 (Pattani, Thailand) - Two civilians are machine-gunned to death by Muslim insurgents in separate attacks.
- 2010.08.23 (South Waziristan, Pakistan) - A suicide bomber at a mosque sends two-dozen other souls to Allah.
- 2010.08.23 (Kurram, Pakistan) - Islamist bombers take out seven tribal elders and a teacher at a school.
If, however, by "mean" you want to denote individuals who delight in burning flies with a magnifying glass, then yes, telling Muslim jokes is really mean. Oh, the barbarity of infidels who delight in burning flies.
Meanwhile, about the kind and gentle Muslim world, zara has nothing to say about what they burn:
Pakistani Christian burned alive, wife raped by police for refusing to convert to Islam (1).
Christian children burned alive by Muslims in Nigeria (2).
Christian family burned to death by Muslims in Pakistan (3).
Come back to me, zara, after you do some reading about Muslim barbarities and then call me mean.
