A NY City subway car filled with people of many cultures. However, my experience is that the young Chinese, Hindu, Koreans, Russians, and other children of immigrants in New York learn our language, become indistinguishable from native New Yorkers, have jobs and contribute to society. Groups who do not assimilate and learn to speak English are doomed to be criminals and dependent on welfare. For example, some black youth, even those born here, who are anti-white, hardly speak our language, hate American culture, and have not integrated into our way of life. This applies to religious Muslims as well.

The interesting thing about so many immigrants looking for work at Home Depot outlets is why, if there is so much unemployment in the country, why are there so few non-immigrants actively looking for work. Don't bother answering, I already know why: unemployment insurance. Consider this, if unemployment insurance ran for 20 years, how long would people remain on the dole? Obviously for 20 years unless a job fell out of the sky and landed on them.

It's been reported that many illegal aliens are fleeing Arizona in advance of the 29 July 2010 effective date for the new law SB 1070, the strictest anti-illegal immigration legislation in decades. I am an immigrant and I support the law. Certainly the law is not racist since it applies to everyone that is illegally here, not just to Hispanics. If law enforcement finds 99% of those who commit crimes and are here illegally happen to be Hispanic then that is no more racist then when 99% of those arrested for crimes in Newark, New Jersey turn out to be black.

Hopefully it won't be long before the burqa is banned throughout the whole of Europe and eventually in America. Last month Belgium drafted a law banning the garment in all public places, including on the streets. France as well approved a draft law to ban the full-face veil from public spaces.

Of course, the problem with even having 1% Muslims is that the 1% does not last long - Muslims are notoriously fecund and they facilitate the entry of even more Muslims into the country.
