The French love comic strips which they call "bandes dessinées" (drawn strips) and even have a theme park called Parc Astérix based on the comic book characters.

The Spanish newspaper El País, the widest selling non-sports paper in Spain and considered to be the NY Times of Spain, reported yesterday 1 that a Muslim student at the Menéndez Tolosa school in Cadiz asked his geography teacher to stop discussing ham in class because it insulted his beliefs.

Yeah, I said it: Let Them Build that Mosque at Ground Zero. Let me tell you why. Imagine if after WWII the Japanese built a Shinto Shrine to commemorate the deaths of their flying heroes and placed it on the shore so that from the rooftop one could easily view the USS Arizona Memorial in Pear Harbor. Wouldn't that have been nice?

Organizers said they were holding the party to protest Islam's encroachment on their neighborhood. Muslims have taken over huge swaths of French sidewalks to pray on because, they say, there are not enough mosques. The true problem has nothing to do with a shortage of mosques: the problem is too many Muslims.

Let me explain what Draw Mohammed Day is all about: Every time a Muslim threatens an American over some insult to Mohammed or Islam then we should draw tens of thousands of insulting cartoons of Mohammed and Islam. Either the threats will stop or Muslims will be so ridiculed and so mocked so often that they themselves will make sure no Muslim ever threatens another American ever again. Unless we make it extremely uncomfortable for them - they will make it extremely uncomfortable for us.

Draw Muhammad Day is not an assault on Islam or Muslims, and certainly not on Arab people of any nation. The protest is not racist or ethnocentric. The protest is not an attempt to infringe on the rights of others or curtail any individual’s religious freedom. The protest is in defense of individual freedom of expression. The protest is against one group forcing its religious doctrine on everyone, and censoring other’s rights of free speech and expression.

Some of my readers who have perused The List of Things That Offend Muslims will have noted that there are more than 500 things that offend Muslims. Some Muslim apologists will object that there are many, many things that do not offend Muslims. Well, to be fair, that's true. So allow me to list those things that do not seem to offend Muslims:

US President Barack Obama changed his mind regarding the release of the pictures showing the abuse of prisoners by US soldiers. Only a complete moron would not see that the release of the photos would endanger not only US troops in Iraq and Afghanistan but Christians and Jews throughout the world as well. So it is not surprising that the ACLU is disappointed over the matter

I first started blogging on Blogger on 16 Jan 2006. Within 5 days I wrote my first article on the Danish Cartoon Affair, Cartoons Heating up Europe. Shortly thereafter I noticed that many anti-Muslim bloggers were forced to have a splash screen that notified the reader that they are coming upon a site that may have objectionable content.

First off, let me say that the title "Death to All Offensive Bloggers" does not refer to a new Obama Administration Executive Order requiring that all right-wing bloggers be publicly executed. No, I'm talking about Iran's new push to include the death penalty for bloggers who write about or promote illegal activities, such as apostasy, prostitution, etc.

Is there anything in Western Civilization that doesn't offend Muslims? And if there's no reason over which to get their turbans in a twist, they will fabricate one. Take for example Coca Cola. There is an Islamic Urban Legend that if you read the Coke logo in a mirror it spells out an anti-Islamic slogan in Arabic: No Mohammed, No Mecca.

football fan says police ordered him to remove an England flag from his car – because it could be deemed racist.

This is what happens when you can't take a joke - you get it even worse. Instead of protesting like normal human beings, Muslims just have to go berserk and prove to the world that yes, they certainly are all crazed jihadists out to behead all those who disagree with them.
