Years ago you could buy any counterfeit product from a Chinese-owned Canal Street business simply by asking for it, however the police have done such a good job these past few years closing these places down that the sellers have been forced to move their operations to the surrounding side-streets. Except for a few hundred extremists, most Muslims and certainly most intelligent, American-born Muslims know the difference between the 7th century and modern times. If you are asking, "Do Muslims believe in the same Jesus as Christians do?" The honest, simple answer is: No.
However, there is a person named Jesus in the Quran, but that Jesus is a different person altogether 1 from the Jesus of the Gospels. As I wrote in my article Muslims for Jesus, Muslims are trying to convince gullible westerners that Islam is a sister faith to Christianity and Judaism and that Muslims believe in the same prophets, Abraham, Moses and Jesus.

One of the great taqiyyas broadcast by Muslims is that they believe in the Torah of the Jews and the Gospels of the Christians. If fact, they believe in neither.
